So I have been into cooking a lot more lately. And I LOVE the combination of peanut butter and chocolate........Mmmmm! So the girls helped me make peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. Oh my.............they licked their fingers, dipped them in sugar, rolled the cookie dough, bit into the cookie dough, they licked their fingers again and put them on the cookie sheet to bake. Couldn't get any better than that!

MOVING on........
I can't really describe today................sad or happy, glad or mad?
We've been waiting nearly two months to find out what Isaac's flying status is...........he won't be in the class anymore because even though the waiver went through, they still have to do another MRI in 3 months and he would be way to behind to stay in this class.
So, he's OUT!
It's not 100%, but it looks like we will be MOVING to PHOENIX sometime in January to start an earlier class.
MOVING AGAIN.......................BLAH! We have lots of decisions to make..............................

Horton hears a WHO?
Tonight was so fun! Playing games as a family.........
It was a HIT! And it was HILARIOUS!

Bending down without using hands, they had to get the clover (velcrow) onto the end of the snout. FUNNY!

I would definetly recommend this game Posted by Hipple Family at 5:38 PM 7 comments
Just SO sweet...........
Madelyn was off to school today on the big yellow bus. Mom and Brynlee went to a meeting with the teacher, Mrs. Martinez. She introduced the curriculum and explained how well Madelyn is doing in her class with these words:
- polite
- smart
- listens to teacher
- easily makes friends
- got a 96% on academic testing!
I thought to myself, "wow!" I feel so blessed to have such an amazing daughter (including Brynlee of course)!
As high spirited as I was, my little helper and I ventured to the wonderful world of Target to find something "special" for this extra special little girl. We of course got a treat and Brynlee had a tester to make sure they were good (learned that from daddy). Then we found a felt dazzle doll that captured me, probably because anything 'pink' or 'princess' is always welcomed in this house.
Madelyn got home. I was so EXCITED. I will miss the day when she stops running to me yelling, "MOMMY" and jumping up in my arms. I proceeded to gift her with her doll and treat and she said, "that was so very kind of you mommy."

Daddy is the new found horse in this house................GiddyUp!

Seriously God, are You Listening to This?...'Cause We are and We Can't Help Smiling!
Well some of our friends had a good idea on their blogs about writing down some of their children's prayers and so we decided to jump on the proverbial band wagon and share some of our daughter's prayers. Mainly this will be used for embarrassment and teasing when they are older but also remind ourselves and remember how wonderful it is to be a parent and how proud we are of their heartfelt attempts at speaking with their Father in Heaven. I am absolutely positive that He gets a kick out each of their (all children) prayers and that they are probably His favorite thing to hear during His day.
Maddie has been praying a lot now and she is always ready to say the prayer. We have gotten to point now where Maddie and Brynlee compete to say the prayer, it really is humorous to hear two kids "arguing" about who is going to pray! Anyway, Maddie has arrived at that age where she is now ad libbing some of the words in the prayer and we can't help but giggle as she adds phrases like "help us to "repair" so that we have Jesus" (we think that means repent) or "bless this food for our hair will grow" (we tell her that her hair will grow longer if she eats all her dinner). But it really is adorable when she blesses the food at least three times, and thanks God for her sister, Mommy, Daddy, Neena, Papa, Sadie Sue Sally (Grandparent's dog in Utah) and so forth. We will have to start taking a running tally of some of the things she says, because they truly are a kick.
What is really amazing though is that they both are willing and excited to participate in the prayers and it just brightens you soul to think of how God must feel as these precious spirits do their best to speak with Him. I know we love to hear them and I am sure that He does as well!
